Setting a Flush Well-Head Grade Ring in a Finished Pinellas Paver Field
Private wells and irrigation wells show up in older Pinellas side yards and, on some lots, right in the driveway. A well-head that sticks above a new paver field is a trip edge and a joint-wash starting point. PaverForge Hardscapes sets a traffic-rated grade ring and rebuilds the collar so the lid finishes flush with the surrounding units.
How we set the ring
Confirm the well casing height and any required setback before cutting the field.
Pour or set a concrete haunch so the box cannot rock when a tire rolls over it.
Use a lid that matches the field texture as closely as a utility lid can.
Sand and compact the collar so stormwater does not pipe down the casing.
When the well is already in a finished drive
We lift only the collar units, reset the ring, and blend leftover pallet pieces into a short repair band. That is cheaper than tearing the drive to chase one lid.
