Setting a Home-Battery Pad Beside a Pinellas AC Yard
Home batteries now sit next to the AC yard on a lot of Pinellas rewires. The cabinet wants a dead-flat, isolated pad that does not share vibration or condensate with the condenser, and it cannot pond after a 2-inch rain. PaverForge Hardscapes builds that pad in interlocking pavers so the electrician can set the unit on a surface that will still be level in five years.
What the pad has to do
Match the manufacturer's footprint plus working clearance, not just the cabinet width.
Sit isolated from the AC pad so condenser vibration and rust stains stay off the battery base.
Pitch just enough to shed water without putting a wedge under the cabinet feet.
Leave a sleeve path for conduit so a later service pull does not mean cutting the field.
How we build it
We compact a crushed-concrete base, set a pinned restraint, and use 80mm units when the pad shares an edge with a driveway. If the battery is going in a side yard that already has pavers, we cut a clean opening, rebuild the base locally, and blend the border so the new pad does not read as a patch.
Have the electrician's cut sheet ready when you call. PaverForge Hardscapes will size the pad to that drawing. 727-490-9798 or https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
