Setting a Pool-Robot Caddy and Rinse Pad Beside a Pinellas Cage
A pool robot that lives on the finished deck leaves a rust ring and a puddle against the screen-cage kick plate. The better setup is a small caddy pad just outside the cage door: pitched, isolated from the main field, and easy to hose off without driving grit back into the joints. PaverForge Hardscapes builds that pad in matching pavers so it looks like part of the deck, not a leftover slab.
What the rinse pad has to do
Sit outside the cage door so the robot is not dragged across the living deck every week.
Pitch to daylight or to a pop-up, not back under the screen footer.
Stay isolated from the pool-deck field so rinse water does not undermine neighboring joints.
Leave a soldier border high enough that the robot does not roll into the planting bed.
Cutting into an existing deck
If the deck is already in, we lift a local rectangle at the cage door, rebuild the base, and reset units around the pad. If the deck is new, the pad is formed with the field so the pattern and color lot match.
