Setting a Pool Robotic-Cleaner Caddy Dock Pad Off a Pinellas Deck
A robotic pool cleaner spends most of its life dripping on the deck. Left on the walking field it leaves a lime halo, trips the cage door, and soaks the same joint sand you just locked. PaverForge Hardscapes sets a dedicated caddy dock pad off the deck so the robot has a home that drains.
Location and isolation
The pad sits outside the screen-cage door swing and outside the skimmer lid. A bond-breaker joint at the deck keeps cleaner vibration and drip from migrating into the field. Height matches the finished deck so the caddy rolls on and off without a lip.
Drip control
A slight pitch to a small splash basin or toward the equipment pad keeps standing water off the joints. We do not run that drip into a pool skimmer weir. If the cleaner stores under a bench, the pad still gets its own edge so the bench footings stay dry.
Add a cleaner dock to a deck rebuild
This is a half-day add-on when a pool deck is already open. Call 727-490-9798 or email PaverForge@gmail.com with a photo of the cage door and the current cleaner parking spot.
