Setting a Recessed Irrigation Controller Vault Flush With a Finished Paver Field
Side-yard walks and patio edges in Pinellas often hide an irrigation controller, a valve cluster, or both. A plastic box that sits proud of the pavers becomes a trip and a mower catch. PaverForge sets a grade ring and lid so the vault finishes flush with the field.
What has to happen before the sand goes down
The vault is located with the irrigation contractor, not guessed after the pattern is locked. We leave a sleeve for the low-voltage cable, keep the box out of the primary wheel path, and pitch the surrounding field so the lid does not hold water.
Flush polymer or concrete lid, not a rocking plastic cover
Grade ring so future re-level work can come up without cutting the box
Keep polymeric sand out of the vault and the solenoid wires
Leave service access so a tech can open the lid without lifting six pavers
Existing fields
On a finished patio we lift a small window, compact a pad under the box, and blend replacement units from a repair pallet. If the controller must stay on a wall, we still flush the valve box in the field. Call 727-490-9798.
