Setting a Reverse-Osmosis Tank Pad in a Pinellas Side Yard
Whole-house reverse-osmosis tanks and storage vessels are heavy, wet, and almost always dropped on a leftover patio corner. That corner then settles, the tank leans, and the drain line pulls off the fitting. PaverForge Hardscapes sets a separate isolation pad so the RO skid is not riding the same bedding as the walk.
Pad size, pitch, and discharge
We size the pad for the tank plus a service aisle, compact a crushed-concrete base, and pitch to a trapped drain or pop-up away from the house slab. Brine and reject water should not sheet across polymeric joints. The pad is isolated from the patio with a bond-breaker so a future tank swap does not tear the field.
Access and HOA screening
Side-yard tanks need a clear pull space for the plumber and a screen the HOA will accept. We leave sleeve space for the feed and drain, keep the pad below the stucco weep, and photograph the finished elevation against the adjacent walk. If the tank sits near irrigation, we relocate heads so overspray is not staining the vessel.
Ask PaverForge Hardscapes to add an RO tank pad when the driveway or side-yard walk is already open. 727-490-9798.
