Setting a Solar Pool-Heater Manifold Pad in a Pinellas Side Yard
Solar pool-heater manifolds get dropped on leftover patio pavers or a scrap of concrete that was never isolated from the screen-cage footer. The result is a rocking valve bank, stained joints from inhibitor drip, and a cage post that cracks when the pad heaves. PaverForge Hardscapes builds a small dedicated pad so the plumber can service the manifold without standing in the planting bed.
Isolation from the cage and the house
The pad is cut free of the pool-cage footer and the house slab. We leave a bond-breaker at the stucco, pitch the surface to a drip edge away from the wall, and set a flush box for the isolation valves so a future re-roof crew can find them. Heat and UV are expected; we use color-through units.
What we need from the solar contractor
Manifold footprint, valve-handle swing, and whether a rinse bib sits on the same pad. We leave sleeves for the roof risers if the lines are not in yet, and we do not pin edge restraint through an unmarked irrigation lateral.
Add it to an existing deck job
This is a one-day add-on when we are already on site for a pool-deck rebuild. Call 727-490-9798.
