Setting a Water-Softener and Brine-Tank Pad Beside a Pinellas Garage
A water softener and brine tank next to a Pinellas garage will stain, rust, and settle if they sit on soil or on a leftover sliver of the old slab. The pad has to take the wet weight of a full tank, pitch brine overflow away from the garage, and still leave room to pull the tank for service. PaverForge Hardscapes builds that as a small interlocking pad, not a floating stepping stone.
Pad details that matter
A compacted base that will not punch through when the tank is filled.
A slight lip or soldier border so a brine spill stays on the pad, not in the planting bed.
Pitch away from the garage slab and the electric meter.
A hose-bib splash that is separate from the tank pad so rinse water does not sit under the cabinet.
Working around existing walks
Most of these pads land against an existing walk or AC pad. We isolate the new pad from those surfaces so settlement in one does not crack the other, and we match the neighboring paver if the house already has a field.
Send a photo of the tank and the side-yard run. PaverForge Hardscapes will size the pad before we schedule. 727-490-9798 or https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
