Setting a Well-Pressure-Tank and Irrigation-Pump Pad in a Pinellas Side Yard
A well pressure tank and irrigation pump sitting on soil will rust the tank bottom and pump vibration into the nearest paver walk. Pinellas side yards also collect roof wash and irrigation overspray, so the pad has to drain and stay serviceable. PaverForge Hardscapes builds a small isolated pad for that equipment instead of stealing a corner of the driveway.
Section and isolation
We excavate a compact footprint, compact crushed-concrete base, and set 80mm pavers or a mortar-set cap where the tank legs land. A bond-breaker keeps the pad off the house slab and off any nearby AC pad so vibration does not telegraph. Conduit and control-wire sleeves are placed before the field is locked so the well contractor is not cutting finished joints.
Drainage and access
The pad pitches to a splash stone or a short pop-up, not back toward the slab. We leave a one-paver pull ring at the tank drain and enough clear space for a future tank swap without tearing the walk. In HOA lots the pad stays low and uses the same field color as the adjacent walk so it does not read as a utility scar.
