Setting an Outdoor-Kitchen Ice-Maker Condensate Pad in a Pinellas Patio
An outdoor ice maker or under-counter fridge sweats all summer on a Pinellas patio. If the condensate sits in the joint sand, the field stays wet and the cabinet rusts from below. PaverForge Hardscapes sets a flush pad and a sleeved drain so the appliance stands level and the water leaves the kitchen.
Pad under the cabinet, not a birdbath in the field
We compact a small module under the appliance footprint, isolate it from the decorative field with a hidden band, and pitch a sleeved line to daylight or to an existing trench drain. The cabinet legs land on pavers, not on soil that will settle after the first storm.
Build sequence with the kitchen contractor
Gas stub-ups, GFCI, and the ice-maker drain have to land before the last courses lock. We coordinate sleeve locations so the mason does not cut a finished soldier course later. Polymeric sand stays off the pad until the plumber confirms flow.
