Sleeving a Standby-Generator Fuel Line Under a Finished Pinellas Driveway

Standby generators on Pinellas lots often sit beside the drive or behind a side-yard screen. The fuel line has to cross the paver field. A shallow chase cut after the joints lock becomes a settlement stripe the first wet season.

PaverForge Hardscapes sleeves the line under the drive as a located trench: utility mark-out, a pipe sleeve with pull string, compact backfill in lifts, and a reset field that matches the existing pattern.

Do not drive the trench until it is dense

We do not drop bedding sand into a loose trench and hope the plate compactor hides it. The sleeve stays below the base section, the base is rebuilt to the same depth as the rest of the drive, and the joints are re-sanded only after the units sit tight. Generator pads themselves are a separate spec so the unit does not sit on the paver face.

Call 727-490-9798 before the electrician or fuel contractor cuts the field. Photos of the proposed pad and the crossing line are enough to start.
