Somerset Street Clearwater Beach Paver Courts
Somerset Street is on the south end of Clearwater Beach, a cottage-lot street where the court often does double duty as guest parking and the path to the side yard. PaverForge Hardscapes builds and rebuilds those paver courts when the original concrete has cracked or a sand-set field has spread.
A court that has to park and drain
These pads are small. One car, a golf cart, and a walk to the outdoor shower is the usual program. Pitch has to leave the house and the shower door, not pond at the slider. We set that in the base and confirm it before pavers go down. A trapped drain is the right detail where the shower or a hose bib dumps onto the court.
Turning and the edge
Tires scrub the border when the pad is barely wider than the car. A darker soldier course hides that scuff, and a pinned edge keeps the field from walking toward the neighbor. We do not rely on a plastic edge buried in loose shell.
Access on a beach street
Delivery is a side gate or a short carry from the curb. We plan the pallet count and the dumpster so the street is clear for neighbors and for beach traffic. If a seawall or a dune setback limits the pad, we lay the court inside that line instead of arguing with it after the base is in.
