Trench Drains at Pinellas Garage Doors
Plenty of Pinellas lots fall toward the house. A pretty slope on the paver field will still put water under the garage door if there is no collection line at the threshold. PaverForge Hardscapes sets a trench drain in the paver section, ties it to a legal outfall, and locks the field around the grate so the joint does not ravel.
When a trench drain is the right call
If the lot cannot pitch to the street, if the garage sits below crown, or if a prior slab already dumps toward the opening, we do not fake a two-percent slope that does not exist. We collect at the door and move the water.
Drain body set in the compacted base, not taped onto the surface later
Outlet to a yard drain, dry well, or street system that already works
Pavers cut tight to the grate so the edge does not chip under tires
A cleanable grate, because Pinellas sand will fill anything you cannot open
