Water-Meter and Cleanout Grade Rings in Pinellas Paver Fields
A paver driveway is only as clean as the lids in it. A water-meter box that sits proud will catch a tire. A cleanout that sits low will collect sand and look like a pothole. Both are avoidable if the box is set on grade rings in the base, not dropped on the bedding at the end of the day.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets meter boxes, irrigation valves, and sewer cleanouts flush with the finished field. Call 727-490-9798.
What a grade ring actually does
The ring raises or lowers the box so the lid lands in the same plane as the pavers. The field is cut tight around it. The lid stays serviceable. The utility can open it without wrecking a row of stones.
Boxes set in the compacted base, not taped on top later
Lids flush with the finished surface
Cuts tight enough that the joint does not ravel under a tire
Room for the utility to open the lid without lifting half the apron
Send photos of every lid
A quote that ignores the meter, the cleanout, and the irrigation valves is not a complete quote. Photograph every lid in the work zone. We will write each one into the layout.
